Having served Howard County in the Maryland House of Delegates from 1986-2003 and as Governor Ehrlich’s Secretary of Transportation from 2003-07, this year, I am asking for your vote to serve the residents of Ellicott City, Elkridge and Hanover in the Howard County Council. Your vote has always been important to me but this year is different. Every citizen who casts his or her vote for real fiscal conservatives is sending a message. If you believe as I do, that it is irresponsible to expand new government programs, while our existing obligations are not being adequately funded, let your voice be heard.
I will be working hard to reach out to the voters in your community this year. In November 2010 you will have an opportunity to vote for fiscal conservatives like my good friend Governor Bob Ehrlich and me. Your vote can and will make a difference!
