Hi, this is Susan Cook, former member and chairman of the Howard County Board of Education, calling on behalf of my good friend, Bob Flanagan.

 
Because of some recent mailings you may have received, I ask for just 30 seconds of your time to set the record straight about

Bob’s support of our educational system.

The truth is Howard County public schools received record funding under Bob's leadership as our Delegate in Annapolis for 16 years.

Without his dedication and determination to do right by our students, faculty and capitol projects, we would not be one of the premier public school systems in the county.

Bob has always taken a personal interest and leadership role in maintaining the quality of our public schools where all 4 of his children attended.

On Election Day, please give Bob Flanagan your vote for County Council.

Ehrlich Endorses Flanagan


Having served Howard County in the Maryland House of Delegates from 1986-2003 and as Governor Ehrlich’s Secretary of Transportation from 2003-07, this year, I am asking for your vote to serve the residents of Ellicott City, Elkridge and Hanover in the Howard County Council. Your vote has always been important to me but this year is different. Every citizen who casts his or her vote for real fiscal conservatives is sending a message. If you believe as I do, that it is irresponsible to expand new government programs, while our existing obligations are not being adequately funded, let your voice be heard.
